The Corn Maiden Kachina is the most common female Kachina impersonation. Legend says her purpose is to purify the women who grind the corn for ceremonies and other gatherings.
Genuine Navajo Kachina Doll handmade by Navajo Indians in New Mexico. Stands 10" tall (not including the stand) and has a removable hooded headdress to reveal the Native American under the costume.
