Where does Pick My Gift use SSL Secured Pages?

VeriSign SSL secured pages are used from our very first step in the "checkout" process where you are asked to enter in the name of the city where your order will be shipped to.  You will remain on secured SSL secured pages until you have completed your order.

How is my payment processed by Pick My Gift and is it a Secure Shopping Cart?

The actual payment page of our shopping cart is also managed by VeriSign and the payment processing of your credit card is provided by PayPal on their SSL secure site.

If you choose not to use PayPal and elect to call in your order, your credit card will still be processed through PayPal manually by our sales representatives.  Your credit card information is not kept by Pick My Gift and once the order has been placed, we cannot retrieve your credit card information.Who and what is PayPal?

What if I still don't feel secure using Pick My Gift's shopping cart?

• If you would prefer not to use our secure shopping cart, you may call Pick My Gift at 1-800-351-6790 or 972-479-9350 and give us your order information and credit card number over the phone. 
  
• If you are not in a big hurry to receive your order, you can mail a personal check to Pick My Gift, 7434 Greenville Ave #202, Dallas, TX  75231.  However, orders will not be processed until your check clears your bank.  This may take several days, in addition to the time it takes for us to receive your check in the mail.  We DO NOT ACCEPT CASHIERS CHECKS and money orders will be verified before orders are processed.

How secure is my personal information with Pick My Gift?

Pick My Gift takes the responsibility of safeguarding your private information very seriously.  Your order information is retained by our accounting department for accounting purposes, but your credit card information is destroyed immediately following completion of the transaction.  Your email address is kept in our address book in order to inform you of important and/or useful information - such as when your order has shipped, if there is a back-order, or when there are new products available that might interest you.  However, after you receive your order, you may opt-out of our email address book by following the instructions given in the emails when they arrive.  You can view our Privacy Policy HERE.
